Why we made this?
It started with a trip to Lisbon and a backpack.
Every time I needed my phone, my wallet, my ticket, the whole thing came off my shoulder. In a queue, on a tram, at a counter with people waiting. And the one time I didn't bother taking it off, someone else did, on a crowded street, and I didn't notice until two blocks later.
When I got home I bought a sling bag. Then another one. The first had a strap that dug in and a zipper that gave out in a month. The second held about as much as a pocket. The third looked fine and fell apart at the anchor point, which is apparently where all of them fail.
So we made this one. Padded strap because it gets worn all day. Reinforced where the strap meets the body, because that's the part that breaks. Separate compartments so you reach in once instead of digging. And sized to sit on your chest where you can see it, which is the only thing that actually stops someone helping themselves.
It's not complicated. It's a bag that stays on, holds what you carry, and doesn't quit after a season. That's the whole idea.
Sizing & materials
[Dimensions in cm and inches, plus weight.] Padded main slot for a phone in a case, a zipped pocket for wallet and cards, and a smaller compartment for keys and earbuds. Phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, power bank and a passport, without bulging. Fits under an airline seat.
[fabric spec.] Reinforced stitching at the strap anchor, where bags usually give out first. Water-resistant, not waterproof: it handles rain on the walk home, not being submerged.
